More Than Play is mom-owned and operated by co-founders Lisamarie and Amanda, who are licensed speech-language pathologists. They are passionate and dedicated to providing an evidence-based approach to learning through play. Their team plays with purpose by offering “adult and me” classes led by licensed and certified therapists and educators in a custom-designed play space with language development and cooperative play in mind. Their play space and classroom were intentionally designed to limit overstimulation for both children and adults. Lisamarie and Amanda were inspired by the desire for community support while raising little ones. Having 10 years of experience working with children and alongside parents as speech-language pathologists, they recognize the importance of a parent’s role in engaging their children in play and promoting an elevated, language-rich environment.
